The Assurance Plan

What is the Assurance plan:

The Assurance Plan is a monthly payment plan that customers can sign up for, allowing them the peace of mind that a lot of people who are on septic wish that they had. It’s like being on sewer, just less expensive! No more service calls, no more yearly inspection costs, cost of pumping, pump repairs, etc. which on average is in the thousands. Basically all the stink that comes with septic will be removed...

What does the Assurance Plan include:

⦁    Service calls are included. No more paying for each trip to your property
⦁    Your yearly (or bi yearly) inspection costs required by your local county health department
⦁    The cost of pump repairs, both effluent and air pumps, floats, j-box repairs (cord grips/electrical connections)
⦁    Routine Pumping- If we discover during an inspection that it’s time for the system to be pumped, we’ll get it scheduled and coordinated.
⦁    Drainfield jetting
⦁    Drainfield repairs. (not replacement)
⦁    UV light bulb replacement. Only covers the bulb, not salcor conversion.
⦁    All connecting pipes to the septic, nothing indoors.
⦁    All pump components. From floats to transducers, motor contractors to circuit boards.
⦁    Courtesy Checks. If you have family coming over for the holidays or and extended stay. Give us a call and we'll give your system an inspection to make sure everything is operational. Free.

What is required to join the Assurance Plan:

Anyone who is interested in joining our Assurance Plan needs an inspection of all components of your system. This inspection includes everything from the septic tank to the drainfield. The Assurance Plan requires all components be risered to surface including the septic tank, drainfield, and d-box/manifold depending on what your systems has. This is a very crucial step to ensure the longevity of your system and providing us with all the tools we need to make sure everything is working as intended with as little surprises as possible.

What are the benefits of the Assurance Plan

We are looking to remove as much of the headache, pain, and anxiety that comes with septic. There are several benefits for all people and all systems out there. lets go over some of them.

Home owners with standard gravity systems-

Gravity systems were the very first designed septic systems and have the least amount of components that can fail. They don’t utilize pumps, floats, etc. making them a favorite for most people. However, least amount of headache doesn't always mean the best case scenario. Drainfields fail all the time. Failures have very little to do with the fact that it is septic water going to the drainfield. In fact it is purely hydrolic overloading, the ditches eventually stop taking water. The best way to prevent this from happening is to have regular inspections, ensure there are no leaking toilets in the home and having risers on the system that are water tight which prevents extra gallons of water from possibly leaching into the system. Unnecessarily adding extra gallons of water to the drainfield inevitably shortening its life. We will also be installing a filter to all tanks with PVC baffles in place. This will reduce any solids getting out to the drainfield causing clogs further down stream, and will be cleaned every 6 months during your routine inspection. Every 4 years of consecutive membership you will receive a free jetter for the drainfield. This will keep your pipes clean, and also introduce some fresh clean water into the drainfield that will help combat some of the anaerobic bacteria that forms in the ditch and can lead to failure.

Home owners with pressure systems-

Pressure distribution and pump to gravity systems will be on our 6 month inspection cycle. If you are in Kitsap County you probably already have an annual inspection that you pay for yearly that checks over all the basics. We will be conducting the same inspection every 6 months a little more thoroughly to ensure that all floats and alarms are operational. Verify drainfield is getting proper flow to each lateral. And just like our gravity systems, we will be installing a filter that is cleaned every 6 months. should your pump, floats, or any panel component fail, it's covered under the plan. Every 4 years of consecutive membership you will receive a free jetter for the drainfield. This will keep your pipes clean, and also introduce some fresh clean water into the drainfield that will help combat some of the anaerobic bacteria that forms in the ditch and can lead to failure.

Home owners with Aerobic Treatment Units-

If you have an aerobic treatment unit (ATU) you are already having either yearly (if in Pierce county) or 6 month inspection (Kitsap county) performed on your system. We will continue those same inspections, again a little more thoroughly, every 6 months. We will check the same floats, alarms, drainfield, etc as well as blower motors that the atu requires to ensure as much longevity of your system and its components as possible. Our ATU contracts will not be getting filters. Most of these tanks do not have access to the outlets and furthermore, due to the high water tables of your property and the requirement of advanced treatment in the tank before your sewage can get to the drainfield a filter would be rather redundant and wont be installed as it just isn't needed. Every 2 years of consecutive membership you will receive a free jetter for the drainfield. This will keep your pipes clean, and also introduce some fresh clean water into the drainfield that will help combat some of the anaerobic bacteria that forms in the ditch and can lead to failure.

Property Managers/Rentals

This is one that tends to cause a lot of confusion and problems for both you and us. Just last week I went out to do a rooter that hadn’t been approved by the homeowner. We want to help you remove that problem.
Property Managers…you know the dance. Tenant has an issue, calls you, you have to call the homeowner, once you get a hold of them you schedule with a company to come out. By now the tenants have probably called 3 times wondering when they can use their toilet again or if they need to be put in a hotel. Company finally comes out to fix the issue and needs to be paid. You know the story. With our plan none of this needs to happen. Just give your tenant our card, any issues they have they can just call us directly because service calls are FREE. No more man in the middle, it allows us to just go fix the issue, and you go on about other more important things in your job/life.
Another bonus to home owners with rentals is you pass the bill off to the tenants anyway. Just about any place that I have rented has always had a $90 a month sewer/water bill. Tenant pays for it, and deal with us directly. Obviously any issues we observe that could be potential abuse of the system (we all know how some tenants can be) will be reported, and with 6 month check ups, we will have a pretty good idea of how the system is being treated.

So why should I do this?

We are different than your run of the mill septic company. The inspection that you pay for yearly, more often than not is some guy coming out and answering the questions the county wants answered. Basically just doing the minimum to keep the county happy, and doing enough to please his or her boss. But the quality is hardly a concern when it comes to inspections. For us its different. For one it benefits us to keep the system in good working order, we pay for everything, and ignoring issues and having to drive out for free every week cause your alarm is going off isn't a good business model. We'll make sure everything is running and in as good of working order as possible.
