Do you know what kind of system you have?

Below we have listed some very informative 3D models that the TPCHD has built to help put things a more visual way. It covers just about all septic systems that are installed in the area. Each stage of the model has a little blurb of text with some helpful tips as well. What kind of system do you have?

Our most basic, and most common system out there today is the gravity septic system. No moving parts, no pumps, very little maintenance. Below we have the models for a healthy and unhealthy gravity systems.

Next up we have our pressure systems out there. This have pumps, floats, and some form of either a panel or alarm box. These systems should be inspected yearly. If you live in Pierce County, they only require a inspection every 3 years. Although we would still recommend yearly inspections.

Finally we have our treatment systems. These systems require a little more treatment before making into the ground, and ultimately the water table. There is a wide range from sand filter, Aerobic treatment systems, and mound systems. Some systems also require a UV light as an additional step of treatment. These systems should be inspected at least yearly. Most ATU manufacturers require 6 month inspections.
